not one of my most beautiful pictures, but imagine if it happened...

Is the shot convincing as suggested subject without the title? For me no. It's to clear that the sun is causing this effect. Nevertheless it's in a strange way a convincing and moody image. The emptiness is strong and the fallen chair is contributing to it. My eye is sucked into the pieces of trash, like they where toilet paper. So i image another story: remnants of a wild party. Technique used is good, composition could be stronger. A better horizon choice as an example. But overall i enjoyed it, and by writing this critique i got into it.

I didn't know atomic bombs had lens flares? :D
Time to screw on a multicoated filter+lens hood :)

Still infinitely better than my Nuclear sunset though [link]

well its a lightsource, every lightsource can have lensflare... never witnessed a real atomic bomb:P

I thought lens flares we're more likely to happen with UV light (like the sun).

Maybe I'm just weird though..;)

it can come from any bright concentrated lightsource :P especially with a wide angle lens its easy to pick up some lensflare

True, because it has a wider field of view, and therefore is more likely to have the sun in it's view. :)
