wow, how long has this been on? lol... I just got on for the first time in MONTHS! truth be told, I was and still am scared of all the stuff that I missed out on... but none the less, here I am to watch and reply all I can... until the library kicks me out. anyway, I agree! DOWN WITH DARAMA!! WOOHOO!!
Danny, my friend, Danny... I so fucking hate the word "dArama". You see, some people make a fuss because they're idiots and reveal a deep hate for dA. But some people care about this site enough to complaint about it and fight for what they believe is right. Loving deviantart mustn't imply people should follow everything like they're blind or must agree with every decision. Some critique out of assholeness. some do it out of dA love. And I love you, my friend, but these things aren't as linear. tits
Yes, of course there is a distinct difference in the way people complain, this was rather an impulsive news article published without much thought because some things I noticed pissed me off. Though I think it's a shame that most people forget why they are here.
Sometimes I see things happen that I really think to myself, do those people remember why they are here. It's a rather blind way to vent my frustrations towards everyone (making the drama myself).
But I hate to see people being disrespectful towards each other, that can really anger me.
There are so much great people here who leave dA or just stay in the background because of those disrespectful people. Not everyone has the guts to stand up for themselves, especially if other people keep burning you down.
And looking at everyone who already have left it looks like those people are winning.
You inspired me to be more to people than the standard "thank you very much and you're very welcome" on here. I think that that interaction will eventually make you a better artist and help other people become better artists. Which for me is still the most important thing.
Well said Dynnnad, we are all here for sharing one anothers poems/art/photography etc.. without needing any drama on DA. This site is the best site I've ever had the pleasure of being on to share pieces of my world with you all through my works. May DeviantArt always be a pleasure to share with such a wonderful community ie you guys
and yeah... if you dont like something then dont fucking complain just try to improve it..., look i dont really like those user-interface updates.. however i knwo ill get used to it and its an improvement anyways (they wont make a new one just for looks...)
The dA staff won't know that you don't like it if you don't say anything. They can't read minds. Personally I could care less about the drama, it's kind of interesting to read in the morning. I think everyone should give reasonable complaints if they don't like something. That way dA knows how the community feels. Comments like "I HATE DA!!" AND "NOOOOOOOOOOO" don't really give anybody any useful information.
Yeah and thats how i think too, those comments wont really help... and sure you got to say something but again, if you only say things kike NOO and stuff they probably wont even care a bit to help you out... (at least i wouldnt)
Is this really newsworthy? Why not throw in some quotes, statistics, or other happenings to back up your statement?
"DArama this week flared up over the recent spat over the ethical implications surrounding the dolling/base community. Four articles debating this topic were posted in succession, sparking heated replies from both sides."
I dunno, just crying, "Stop the drama, it's bad!" has been done before! You need some pizazz!
you are not a genious like you think as you can see here in the da status forum there are alot of bugs and errors and not just for beta-testers [link] maybe close your mouth until you have a slight clue of what you are saying
It was actually happening BEFORE I got the Beta testing. Now that I have Beat testing, the problems have just disapeared. so Im good. And like CSynder says. Dont tell people what to do. I bought Premium membership so I COULD get more out of the deviantart expirience. But these problems were happening a month before I bought premuim.
i can not enjoy the experience with so many bugs and errors, errors that are effecting many members but seemed to be blamed on me by the help desk, label it drama if you want to ignore issues or deal with the issues
Chris, if someone has shown love for deviantart and this community, it's you. I have never seen you rant about anything else other than dA's improvement, so don't feel you have to validate yourself any further to strangers. Your manifestation comes out of dA love. Those who know you know that. And the people above know that too. They just don't like stones in their shoes. It's a bitch!
You know, the easy way to do that is DON'T BE A BETA TESTER! Of COURSE a beta tester will experience bugs and errors. Not that I've ever come across one. Even in beta mode, the site feels well coded and put together. Find your settings now, and get off the beta. Sure, you'll lose the cool = in front of your nick, but if the bugs are bothering you that much, you shouldn't seek them out like this.
my other account is on beta-testing and ive gotten the same errors as alot of non beta-testers and beta-testers alike so you have no clue of what you are saying at all...not even a little bit knowledge has eluded you on this subject yet you still act as if you know anything you are only fooling yourself and looking like the troll that you are
